The Green Bus

What if we could bring the world together…on one bus? Hey! I’m Deanna, the founder of Greennookco. I design plant-based experiences to connect people with plants and each other. Plants have always been a passion of mine, but over the years my hobby has evolved into a space where I can help create hands-on experiences that connect others to learn more about the world around them.
I started Greennookco from my dining room table with one mission in mind: to help make plant knowledge and growing accessible to everyone.

 

Now, I’m ready to grow Greennookco into a bigger space, but I need your support! I’m working to purchase a bus that I can convert into a mobile greenhouse and classroom to teach workshops that I call “The Green Bus.”

 

With this bus, I will have the ability to bring plant education, STEM-based activities, and inexpensive houseplants to local schools, parks, and events. Instead of making people come to me, I’ll bring the experience to them. The Green Bus will provide plant and science education for kids and families, locally grown healthy plants to our community, and a one-of-a-kind space to bring people together. All of your donations will go toward buying the bus and transforming it into a safe, mobile, plantable classroom.
